The Indian Lounge is the latest quest of Indian cuisines in our family, which originated from the Indian sub-continent in Bangladesh🇧🇩. Travelling over to the UK 🇬🇧 in the 1960s with Mr Sonuhor Ali. Originally a factory worker in the Midlands who followed his dream of cooking by becoming one of the very first young, handsome Desi gentlemen to bring traditional Indian food to the residents of Chester, Cheshire, by setting up a restaurant in the heart of the City Centre.

Having owned and ran the restaurant for over 40 years, we as a family of sons, daughters and now grandchildren had a passion to spread our wings to continue on the legacy through great service and to allow more people to taste our delicious food in various other locations around the North West of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

Then in 2014, we established Indian Lounge! A modern and contemporary restaurant with chic surroundings situated on the A541 Denbigh Road in the beautiful village of Nannerch, just a few miles from the Historic Market Town Yr Wyddgrug, also known as Mold in Flintshire, North Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. A place where guests can enjoy authentic Indian food prepared with fresh herbs and spices and taste the decades of history in every bite!
